Gourmets regard Gaggenau warming drawers as a secret compartment which can do much more than merely heat plates.
The interior is made from hygienic stainless steel and glass, and it's food safe. At temperatures between 40°C and 80°C, they can be used for browning roasts, getting pastries to rise or keeping soups warm and are also ideal for gentle defrosting.
Warming drawers are available in three different sizes and can be combined with the oven, Combi-steam oven or a coffee machine, as required.
The WS 261 model shown here is in the 200 series design and is ideal for combination with a Combi-steam oven as shown on pages 20/21 and 32/33.
The warming drawer holds six dinner plates including soup bowls.
