Yes. The oven is equipped with automatic ignition, however manual ignition is possible.

Does the oven require preheating?
La Germania ovens are large and preheating is recommended for at least 15 minutes prior to commencing cooking

It is advisable to open the oven door as little as possible during oven operation as this will cause heat loss and may affect cooking results.

What type of trays should be used in my La Germania oven?
