| 1. Preheat oven on CircoTherm® setting to 150°C. Line baking trays with baking paper.
2. Cream butter and sugar. Add salt.
3. Fold in flour and work with your hands until a firm dough is formed.
4. Roll the mix into two log shapes 40 - 50mm diameter.
5. Slice the logs into 10mm thick rounds and place, evenly spaced, on baking trays.
6. Bake at for 35 minutes, or until a pale golden colour.
7. Cool on trays for 5 minutes before removing to cooling rack.
8. When completely cooled, pack shortbread into airtight containers and store in a cool place. |
